    Beautiful setting but something not quite right with the service. All the locals greeted on first name terms (good) but outsiders barely acknowledged. Food ok, not a great burger but ok. How can a burger and child's sausage and chips take 40 mins. Also why salt on children's chips? No need. Overall? Average

    The Hatch is a lovely pub, great service but sadly lacks when it comes to the food. The food was cooked to a reasonable level but lacked passion. By that I mean it felt as though it was prepared by an average cookery school student that lacked knowledge of what makes food great, and was simply just following a rigid recipe but missing out any type of seasoning. It was extremely dull and amazingly lacked any taste whatsoever.
